does that head spin around so that it would make a useful lighthouse?

that light effect is very nice, and the model is going to look great. try to find a better resolution for the background image, and maybe tilt it somehow towards the camera from the upper edge, not sure about that, but you might try it.

Nice and smooth. But some glow in the "eyes" would be cool, the metal inside is not lighted even the light is coming out there......
